Mallika Sherawat has been known for her super glamorous image which has helped her to get few films too. But it seems her unprofessional attitude will soon make problems her. An industry insider informs us Mallika is not keen to promote Ugly Aur Pagly thus she hasn’t given her dates for the promotion of this movie.
Interestingly after doing several special appearances in films like Aap Ka Suroor , Welcome and Dashavatharam Mallika has finally managed to get two solo films like Ugly Aur Pagly and Maan Gaye Mughle Azam . So what makes Mallika to throw weight around? Mallika’s relationship with PNC has changed after Pyar Ke Side Effects . She used to act pricy on the set informs a unit hand.
Recently a promotional event was organized to promote UAP but both Mallika and Ranvir surprised the media by their absence. When contacted, Ram Kamal Mukherjee, the Creative Director of PNC, denied the news calling it a rumour. He said, “She will be promoting the film soon. Mallika is very professional and we will soon start promotions of Ugly Aur Pagly .”
While our source insists that Mallika has refused to give interviews saying she is very busy these days. We wonder what made her so busy when she has no new films in hand! Sachin Khot Director of UAP says, “This is not true. We have seen the film on the editing table and we don’t think we need to re shoot anything. UAP has shaped up pretty well so there’s no reason for her to be upset. I am busy in some promotion plans and will start promotions soon.”
However this is not new in Mallika’s case as she has always been in the limelight for all the wrong reasons. It can recalled that Mallika told her producer of Fauj Mein Mauj to re shoot the movie when it was 70 per cent complete.
