TAMIL ACTRESS Asin Thottumkal is on cloud nine. She has reasons to feel on top of the world. Firstly, Asin’s Tamil film, Dasavatharam, opposite superstar Kamal Hassan, has been declared a mega blockbuster of 2008. Secondly, Ghajini, her upcoming film starring Aamir Khan, is the most awaited film of the year. If that was not enough, the actress has now featured on the cover of the prestigious Vogue magazine.
She is indeed looking glamorous on the Vogue cover in her red hot avatar. Talking about the cover shoot of Vogue, she said that the experience was very exciting. This was the first shoot for a fashion magazine and she had lots of fun during the shoot. A variety of dresses were given and she had to choose from them. She found all the clothes amazing, especially a pink dress by Valentino. She even said that most actors don’t prefer doing still photos but she just loves it and feels very comfortable. She enjoys the clothes, looking good and thus freezing the moment, reported a website.
At a young age of 22, the hot and happening actress has achieved a lot. She must indeed be feeling great to be on the tenth issue of Vogue, even before her first national film and the first anniversary of Vogue.
The Vogue India’s July issue is all set to hit the stands and the actress has all the reasons to smile. She feels that it will make her a big hit with the Indian audience.
Priya Tanna, editor of Vogue, said that Asin was the unanimous choice for the cover.
