The chain-smoking giant of the Bollywood box-office Shah Rukh Khan has decided to give up smoking again. In an interview to the Malayalam daily, Malayalam Manorma SRK said,
I am planning to quit smoking for the sake of my children, who hate to see me smoke. It is a blessing in disguise and I will quit smoking in the next two months.
Health Minister Ambumani Ramadoss had often mentioned that Shah Rukh’s habit of smoking publicly sets a bad example for for youngsters. Because of Ambumani, Tamil star Vijay announced that he won’t smoke in screen.
Shah Rukh Khan added
I started smoking when I was 22. For the last 20 years, I have been a smoker.I am sure Mr Ramadoss will be very happy to hear this news
This is not the first time SRK has promised to quit smoking !!! The question is, has Shah Rukh Khan really going to give up smoking?
SRK to appear on Rakhi’s chat show
Item girl Rakhi Sawant managed to have some Bollywood biggies on her chat show but her wish list is not limited up to them only. She wanted the presence of the most vibrant actor of Bollywood, Shah rukh Khan on her show. After getting nod from perfectionist Aamir Khan, Rakhi deliberately followed Shahrukh to acquire his acceptance. Finally, King Khan gave his words to Rakhi to be her guest.
Rakhi’s joy knew no bounds when Shah rukh Khan sent her an SMS confirming his presence. Rakhi said, “Yes Shah Rukh Khan has agreed to shoot for me. I am thrilled because I always wanted him to be a guest on The Rakhi Sawant Show. Since he has been so busy with his films and other work, I wasn’t sure if he would agree. But he did, and I am very excited that he finally said yes!”
Rakhi will shoot with Shah rukh Khan when he will be free and give his suitable dates. After getting approval from the two Khans, Rakhi eyes Salman Khan. She feels it’s an honor to have the three great Khans on her show.
